IN SPIRIT is a retreat designed to inspire the individual music enthusiast through a unique fusion of practical and theoretical production techniques combined with more spiritual exercises (i.e. meditation, breath-work, channeling, and sacred ceremonial rituals).
The synthesis of these two distinct modes of creative expression and connection culminating in the alignment of mind, body, and spirit; resulting in the profound realization and manifestation of divine artistic potential.

Who is this retreat for:
In this Level 2, we are inviting Music lovers, musicians, Djs, singers, cacao ceremony space holders, producers, ecstatic dance facilitators and any with a desire to learn who already have skills in music production, to boost it one step further .
if you are familiar already familiar with Ableton ( automation, reverb, delay, EQ)
and have been working on few tracks already, this level is for you ..
What you get out of the retreat:
At the end of the retreat you will have received all the tools and knowledge you need to create your own track from start to finish - including mixing techniques and mastering fundamentals - and to perform it live with Ableton.
Over 32 hours of group instructional content (7 x formal seminars, group track production, masterclasses, panels & informal talks).

To get the most out of the 6 days retreat we are working with a great variety of classes that can be customized to your skills and interests (you will find more detailed information in the program).

We strongly recommend that all participants bring at least the following items to optimize their learning experience:
Laptop (with Ableton* pre-installed, sample packs, etc)
Studio quality headphones
Notebook for taking notes
External Hard Drive (or min 100Gb space free on the computer)
if you are a musician feel free to bring your instruments of choice
a small midi controller or keyboard (will be providing a few Ableton* push controllers)

A musical journey that was seeded by the traditional music of Old Europe, and later, profoundly influenced by the music and spirit of North Africa; Baptiste’s music fosters ceremonial experience across many settings including, ecstatic dance, contact improv, and festival live sets. He enjoys the flexibility and depth that electronic music offers. Baptiste recently released his new EP KuraKura under the Label Numa (Germany).
Baptiste has more than 12 years experience in music and music production education. He is now sponsored by Ableton Live and is based in Bali and teaching at the Greenschool.
DJ, Producer and Music Production Instructor
Steffen has been producing electronic music for 15 years and to this date has released more than 50 tracks in the genres of Deep House, Melodic Techno, Ambient and Downtempo. Since 2016 his sound has evolved into what he describes as “medicine music”. His music is composed of organic beats, warm ambient soundscapes, dreamy lush melodies, healing frequencies and field recordings of nature. Over the last 2 years Steffen has been travelling and touring almost non-stop in Europe and South America, producing and releasing tracks while travelling along with playing DJ-Sets as well as Live-Sets.

Her songs are soul-fueled and pure prayers for the healing of earth and humanity. By listening and tuning into nature and the subtle realms of creation, Maywa guides people in their reconnection with nature and alignment with their essence through shamanic sound healing journeys and voice embodiment workshops. She has performed at venues and worked in retreat centers all over the world including "HEART" & "Woomoon" (Ibiza), "Reserva One Love" (Colombia) "Eagles Retreats" (Guatemala), "Papaya Playa Project" & "Aqua Viva" (Mexico, Tulum).
J·POOL (Joe DeFaria)
Audio Engineer, Music Producer, DJ,
Joe began his musical odyssey by playing guitar and studying music as a child and now has been producing electronic music for over 6 years. He studied audio and recording engineering at OIART (the Ontario Institute of Audio and Recording Technology) in Canada, where he received a full degree in the course as well as awards in the music production program. He now works as a professional live sound engineer with PK Sound, a boutique sound system company based in Canada, and travels the world producing music and deejaying.
